Duct Insulation

Exterior duct work insulation for use on commercial or residential heating and air conditioning ducts.

Manson Fiberglass Blanket Duct Wraps are flexible, formaldehyde free fiberglass blanket insulation used to control surface temperature and condensation on sheet metal ducts.  The standard density for fiberglass duct wrap is a ¾ pound per square foot.  Different insulation thicknesses allow R-Value requirements to be achieved. Flexible duct wraps should be used on indoor duct work insulation only. 

Manson Fiberglass Insulation Boards are rigid boards with a wide variety of thermal and acoustical applications ranging from exterior duct work, walls, ceilings, and mechanical room equipment.  The primary use is for outdoor duct work insulation applications as the rigid board allows you to install an exterior jacket over the insulation board and still hold shape.   

For residential applications, a radiant barrier bubble wrap can be used to achieve some R-Value requirements. Radiant barrier R-Values are primarily determined by proper spacing between the barrier and the duct work.
